trans is fixed. it was a fuse. yeah..... um... apparently the fuse that is for the REVERSE LIGHTS controls the car going into overdrive. wtf nissan?!
got a new set of DR... got a nail in mine and it was wearing really strange... maybe i need an alignment? well see w/ the new set, ima drive easier on this set around turns and see.
raced a few more ppl lol.
beat dustins evo by like a fender at 110mph when my car decides to stop working.
he had 5 ppl in the car lol
kinda kept up to a kenny bell supercharged mustang
beat by a little a 100cc crotch rocket he was in 4th and i was in 3rd poppin off rev limiter when trans was still gay

um... the list goes on.

so i think after this weekend EVERYONE knows me and my car haha.
we took it to the subaru car show on 27th and layton... everyone was checkin it out, askin questions etc.
went out to hwy later and had a million ppl saying hey and thats the 2j!~get on it blah blah blah lol. its okay, most of them were cool guys.
i gave ryan a ride since he hasn't been in it w/ the single turbo. he said this 'i dont think ive smiled that hard in a long time' aww that made me feel good and bad b/c he prob doesnt smile much anymore. i told him, he can drive it whenever he wants!
they might be lookin @ the tranny 2marro, hopefully to resolve the issue!
and i've gotten 5 friend requests on facebook the past day... i wish i cared about making more friends haha. hummmmmmmmmmmmh

sooo its been a while since the last update...
i've raced a few cars i must say.
1000cc crotch rocket... i won.
srt4 neon some mods idk... i won.
mach 1 mustang w/ kennybell supercharger... he won, but i stayed right next to him.
done up gto (no idea on mods fast as f though lol)... didn't lose too much, but enough. :)
stock 350z.. yeah. lol its my friend kevin's he always fks w/ me, idk why...
some modded miata.. i won derrr.

i went to openhouse/dyno day @ west bend dyno tuning in west bend lol.
it was only 40 bucks to dyno 3 pulls... so i said WHY not.
did 5 runs actually cuz im awesome and my car sucks lol
1st pull... in 2nd gear and tires spun
2nd pull... in drive (only 3rd gear cuz tranny is awesome) tires spun again.
3rd pull.... tried again tire spin
added sand bags to the trunk lol
4th pull.... car was poppin up top
5th pull.... got it to downshift then to 3rd and it made a whoppin 408 @5500rpm w/ 370TQ on the 15 lbs of boost. which we think it has a boost cut issue cuz it was cutting out up top, or maybe even a fuel cut. gotta look into it.
and i won 2nd place in the sport compact group of highest HP. which means i won 50 bucks and a bunch of goodies. woohooo... i was happy!!!!!!

i forgot to add a few stories that made me laugh/sad/worried about this winter project...
story number 1
took the car out for a drive to see how everything worked... did a few pulls did the 3rd pull... car moved pretty well, then all of a sudden this weird liquid explodes on my windshield and theres a loud pop (didnt have a hood on at the time) and it happened on the drivers side so i ugh slowed the f down tried seeing where i was going and pulled into my subdavision right away.. (nick was driving behind me to make sure nothing was leaking etc etc, he thought i blew the motor up lol)
anyways... i pull over theres a TON of oil all over the ground, the engine bay, windshield, mirror, everywhere... look around and the god damn oil cooler line blew the f off... yeah barb'd hoses work for shit. so we tightened it up drove it home which was only like 1 mile... it lost 4 qts of oil, lets just say oil isn't cheap... that oil was brand new too lol. shiiiittty.
story number 2
we were on our way to our friend ron's house to have him put on my exhaust (diff spot w/ new turbo) and since the car doesn't like shifting it revvs @ like 4grand when im doing 60mph... so things are gonna get hot... the liquids were getting warm so i wanted to pull over and let it chill.
pop the hood and take a look around... notice the an line for the turbo oil feed line is just about cookin thru... i had it going thru the manifold hole (hard to explain) so in other words... it was so hot it started burning a hole thru that an line... holy shit. i was so close to blowing up my brand new turbo. i would of cried! so instead of driving it to ron's (we were more than half way there) he came and towed me to his house... fixed up that line and did the exhaust... hes a great welder, i must add.

so its been a while since ive updated...

has been since mid april i believe...
well its done but not DONE DONE.
its running, driving on all cylinders lol.
doesn't mean it goes into all gears... grrr.
something is wrong w/ the tranny. go figure.
its really weird, its a totally diff prob than last year...
as soon as i let off the break, its shifts @ 6mph and @ 12mph.. then thats about it. lol
no overdrive.
gotta figure out why the speedo doesn't work, and prob put in a new tranny
so there was this evo i raced last year, saw his car this year, app hes got a 57trim or something turbo idk but either way i was right next to him and i felt happy when we saw his engine.
went to hwy this past weekend, had a bunch of kids lovin my car. woohoo.

new tranny cooler... smaller one cuz i have a feeling thats whats causing some of the cooling issues... its like half the size of the radiator!
